ANNOTATION:
To address the learners’ needs, I adjusted and explained the lessons on the
students’ level via messenger, modified the learning tasks and even created self-
made video lessons to guide the learners. I uploaded these video lessons on my
YouTube Channel and on Facebook groups and group chats and sent the links to the
students in need so they can access them anytime and anywhere or during times
when their internet connection is good. I also coordinated to the parents and sent the
soft copies of the remedial activities to be answered by the students. 1

ANNOTATION:
While I was creating and devising my WHLP, I assessed the
performances of my students during our online classes. Realizing that they
were more participative if there were online interactions, I included more
interactive online applications such as Peardeck and Quizizz in the
performance tasks of my WHLP to manage the teaching-learning process.

ANNOTATION:
All the learning tasks and expected learning outcomes I gave to my
students were aligned to the learning competencies that are indispensable in
the teaching-learning process.

ANNOTATION:
I prepared various assessment approaches that are aligned to the
learning competencies to measure the learnings of the students. They were
given performance tasks like writing poems, crafting their own brochures,
portraying like a newscaster and video-record themselves while reporting,
writing essays, making their own powerpoint presentations and many more.

ANNOTATION:
I used different interactive online applications such as Peardeck and
Quizizz, I created video lessons which I uploaded on my Youtube Channel, I
used different instructional materials (self-made powerpoint presentations)
and shared all these to the Facebook Group (Guide), Group Chat and Google
Classroom accessible to my students anytime and anywhere.

It is vital that once in a while, we pause, breathe deeply and


contemplate on things whether or not we are treading the right things to do or
we are effective on what we do. Thankfully, we got the chance to weigh on
the performances we render as teachers through this collection of work – the
LDM2 Practicum Portfolio.
As for me, I could say that this portfolio reflects my abilities and how far
I’ve improved my technical skills for this school year. From the preparations
that I made in devising the lessons like attending webinars in improving my
skills professionally and technically, to the executions of the lessons, up to the
addressing and monitoring students who are lagging behind, up to the
professional linkages with colleagues and professional development and so
on.
While I’m doing the compilation of my artifacts, I’m proud that though I
struggle because of our nowadays situation where we are amidst of Covid19
pandemic, I able to slowly adapt. I also came to realize that despite that fact
that we, teachers, also struggle so much just to deliver quality in education
even prior to the opening of the school year where we already started pushing
so hard to learn, to prepare and so on, we still manage to perform our very
righteous duty of refining the youth. Thanks to LDM Course!

ANNOTATION:

ANNOTATION:
Our department which is ENGLISH Department, initiated a school project
called Project Co-Teaching. This is to encourage and engage parents in the teaching
and learning process. We conducted a Facebook Livestreaming to explain the goal of
the project. In the later part, we had a Question and Answer portion to address the
queries about the project. Gladly, we able to engage 549 parents and guardians to
assist in the teaching-learning process.
