INTRODUCTION
Introduction

 The environment is being destroyed by climate change so the earth


urgently needs to be safeguarded.
 Climate crisis is one of the defining challenges of the youth as it has
various negative effects on their health and socioeconomic status.
 To reduce the impact of environmental problem and protect the planet
for the future generation, young people must be the first to engage in
environmental initiatives.

THE STUDY
PURPOSE of the study
 As proposed, in Republic Act No. 9512 also knowsn as “National
Environmental Awareness and Education Act of 2008” it states
that DepEd, CHED, TESDA and other institutions should integrate
environmental education.
 Green Youth Environmental Movement is a project for youth that
aims to encourage students and implement conservation and
preservation projects for the environment as a response to different
risks of environmental
problems.

DESCRIPTION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
 Promotes individual involvement in the cause of environmental
preservation and conservation and promotes waste reduction by
having various cleaning and recycling activities.
 Promotion of the Graduation Legacy for the Environment Act
which envisions to plant 175 million trees through the graduating
students each year upon implementation.
 Aims to foster a green culture of environmental sustainability among
the youths that train and develop good leaders
from Mapandan National High School.

 Implement environmental education activities as a response to
the effect of climate change.
 Inculcate a green culture and environmental sustainability
among the youth.
 Improve and develop a better school environment for students
and teachers.

METHODS
methods
 Room to room campaign and hand out flyers to each student
to encourage them to join in the green youth environmental
movement and promote the project’s advocacy.
 Hold open to students lectures and events to inform and
further their understanding about the environmental project.
