LONTONG

A Malaysian cuisine
There are TWO kinds of
lontong….
1.LONTONG
JOHOR
Served with lodeh (the gravy).
Lodeh has lots of vegetables like
carrots,long beans, tofu and tempe
(made from soy beans). We can add
spicy sambal (chili paste) if we like it
hot.

I like to eat my lontong with a boiled


egg because it taste really delicious
with lodeh and sambal!
2. LONTONG
KERING
We can eat our lontong with
chicken rendang or beef rendang.
We can add boiled egg too in this
dish. The rendang is hot because
rendang paste has lots of spice. For
this, we can eat with kuah kacang, a
nutty gravy which taste sweet and
savoury.

Hari Raya Haji)
