Integration means to create a connection from one


subject to other. It can be within or across. For my
COT 1, I chose HEALTH with the topic “Paggalang sa
Damdamin ng Iba”. I integrated Filipino and AP subject
through a short story about palarong pinoy - tagu-
taguan and luksong baka. After the story, I asked them
about the “Elemento ng Kuwento “ – tauhan at
tagpuan ( who is the character in the story and where
does the story happen ). In the discussion part, I also
integrated ESP or kagandahang asal through giving
examples on how to respect other’s feelings and
emotions

For my COT 2, I chose ARTS with the topic “3


Dimensional Crafts na Likhang Sining”. I integrated
Filipino subject through a short story about a child
who went to a museum with her mother. I asked them
who are the characters and what is the setting of the
story. In the discussion part, I also integrated AP
through a giving a little bit of information on what is
museum and what should we do inside the museum.

According to PPST 2017, Mother Tongue is the native language or the first
language the learner learns as a child. For my class, TAGALOG or FILIPINO is
my learners’ Mother Tongue. I was able to lead the class discussions in
Filipino with confidence in all parts of my lesson. I was able to paraphrase the
questions for my learners to understand and answers these more effectively.

Creating a positive experience for students which includes
the physical space and conducive area to learn is one of the definition of a safe
learning environment. Since it is pandemic, I was assigned as online distance
