Annotation

Because of this pandemic, both parents and teachers were restricted to go


to school to distribute and get modules respectively. As aid to this
circumstances, We distributed learning guides to learners for them to follow.

Annotation

I also provided other opportunities for learners to explore and witness the
lessons through online listening activity. The examples given in this activity
sheet are more easier than those written in the modules/learning resources.

Annotation

From the virtual webinars I attended, I was able to emotionally and mentally
prepare myself on the innovations to improve teaching-learning process in
the modular learning process. Ideas were shared abundantly for our gain.

REFLECTION:

REFLECTIVE SUMMARY

LDM Course made teacher and school leaders improve the readiness
and preparedness of learning delivery modalities in response to COVID 19
pandemic. Basically, as teacher I find it very challenging on how I could
deliver learnings to our student in this new normal situation. Furthermore
DepEd has initiated an urgent action as response to the ongoing pandemic
problem and the LDM Course was implemented nationwide.
The collection of artifacts reflects what I did and what I achieved after
completing the course. It help me to be prepared for this distant learning in
this new normal. The artifacts could tell what I have gained and learned from
the course and what I have discovered from myself. It made me realized
that as teacher/educator I need to adopt to the new system on the learning
delivery to address the learners needs. It also honed a lot of skills that I
have now. I gained new knowledge, skills and positive mindset that are
necessary in this new teaching and learning way. Despite the challenges
that I have encountered everyday, I am very much grateful to DepEd for the
opportunity and chance to attend to this kind of course. It served as my
weapon to do my job confidently and efficiently.

Annotation

My reflective summary essay above expressed about my in-depth personal


experience in implementing distance LDM. To sum it up, LDM course
capacitated me on approaches and innovations to improve my performance
in managing technological resources to address the needs of my learners.

I constantly monitored learners’ progress by checking and recording their


outputs. I immediately give feedbacks and reminders through messenger or
personal messages and even assisted those students who logged. Words of
encouragement are a big help for the learners.

I developed my professional engagement with my colleagues by


attending and participating in LAC sessions, INSET, and faculty
meetings. We have several group chats created to disseminate
information and other concerns related to our work.
