    WHAT IS CORRUPTION?
    Wrongdoing on the part of an authority or Powerful party through means that are illegitimate,
    immoral, or incompatible with ethical standards.
    The word corruption comes from the Latin word “Corrumpo” which means to decompose or to
    loose value.
    The Advanced Oxford Dictionary defines corruption as “ an act of dishonesty or an illegal behavior
    aimed at using public office for one’s private gain.”
     Corruption is global Problem and no country of the world is totally free from its menacing

    grip.

     India was ranked 85th on the Corruption Perceptions

     Corruption comes under many different guises: bribery, misappropriations of the public

    goods, nepotisms and influencing the formulations of laws or regulations for private gain.
