ICE CREAM MAN
The poem is about an ice cream man and the various ice creams he has in his
cart. He pushes his cart around the town in the summer and the children
swarm around his cart the same way bees do around flowers for nectar.

WONDERFUL WASTE
In this story the king stops the cook from throwing away the vegetable waste
and put it to some other use. The cook decides to take all the vegetables and
wash them. He then put them in a huge pot and placed them on the fire to
cook. Next, he ground some fresh coconut, green chillies and garlic together.
He added this paste and some salt and named the dish Avial (uh-vi-al) and
the dish is still famous in Kerala.
UNIT-2
Teamwork
Teamwork is a poem about the importance of working together. We can’t
play basketball if one person doesn’t pass the ball to the other or even
participate in a relay race, because one needs to pass the baton to the next.
When everyone comes together to work on something
It is known as teamwork.

Shadow
Shadow is a poem that talks about how our shadow shows up and disappears
during the day. It follows us everywhere and is sometimes bigger while it is
sometimes smaller.

Robinson Crusoe discovers a footprint
Robinson Crusoe used to live on the island alone.
One day he discovered a footprint and was scared

And how he slowly overcame it.
UNIT-4
Crying
The poem talks about how one shouldn’t cry a little but rather cry a lot. The
poet wants everyone to cry their eyes out until they’re happy again.
