Trigonometric Integrals

 The general idea is to use identities to transform the


integrals we have to find into integrals that are
easier to work with.
 Some integrals can be easily solved without the use
of identities.
Trigonometric Integrals

 With m and n nonnegative integers (zero or positive), we start


with integrals of the form

 3 cases arise (depending on the evenness of m & n):


 m is odd
 m is even and n is odd
 m and n are both even
