 In India, there is an over-dependence on the groundwater

people in India drinks untreated water, leading to deaths.

 A water scarce region of Rajasthan, called Bagar was

facing a problem of safe drinking water. The problem of not

But the initiative posed different challenges to effectively and
efficiently manage the project like educating consumers
about water-health linked diseases.

So, Sarvajal innovated a solution that could be customized

for the water contamination profile of any location with
pioneering remote monitoring technology. It also invested
in community awareness activities.
Piramal Sarvajal, has a mission driven social enterprise

The techonoloy of IoT has been installed at the purification
level to ensure the quality of water.
The system of how
it will work.
Experiment: Prototype

The water ATM devices invented were solar-powered, cloud

connected and operated automatically.
The machine was designed to dispense water at the swipe of
a card.
