BÜYÜK HAN
It is believed to have been built in 1572 by
Muzaffer Pasha, the first Turkish pasha appointed
after the conquest of Cyprus.
Although the exact date of construction of the inn
is not known, it is believed that the architect
named Bostan, who came here from Istanbul and
made various works, built it.
ALPINE SKI HOUSE
It is a two-storey building constructed of cut stone in the classical Ottoman-Turkish inns type.
This structure was designed with traditional Turkish arch systems.

KÖŞK MESCİD
In the middle of the inner courtyard of the
Han, there is also a mansion mosque with an
octagonal plan built on marble columns and
with a fountain under it.

ALPINE SKI HOUSE

DETAIL
Under the mosque, today there is a rectangular
planned water tank made of cut stone. This
warehouse, which has a single tap, was built
between 1889-1927. In the past, there was a
beautiful fountain with multiple taps in its
place. This old fountain was an octagonal
structure, with a panel with wooden rails on
top.

ALPINE SKI HOUSE

DETAIL
It differs from similar pavilion masjids by using
columns instead of solid stone masonry feet for
support. A round arch system with a massive
stone foot and a mosque was used. There is a
tomb without an inscription in the southwest of
the Köşk mosque. This tomb used to be a votive
place and a candle was lit in the grave. It is not
known exactly who it belongs to.
