 Introduction
Given the potential impact of weak password security on students and educational institutions, it is important to study the issue in more depth. This can

help to identify the specific factors that contribute to weak password security among students and to develop strategies to address the problem. Furthermore,

by understanding the extent of the problem, researchers and educators can work to raise awareness of the importance of strong password security among

students and to provide the necessary resources and education to help them protect themselves and their personal information online.
Statement of the Problem

What is the level of awareness of Grade-12 students of TVL-Track and General
Academic Strand in Batobalani National High School regarding password
confidentiality?

How do students perceive the importance of password security according to:

Are there any factors that contribute to a lack of awareness about the
risk of weak password security among students, if there is?
 SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

The respondents are selected purposively. This study will use a questionnaire in gathering data through the use of interview
questions. Researchers interview (4) sections of students in Batobalani National High School including the technical vocational
livelihood track in computer system servicing on grade-12 students with a maximum of one hour (1 hour).
 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

This study will help the school to be aware of the topic; of the confidentiality of passwords

prevent cybercrime caused by some information on accounts in social media platforms that the

password is not confidential.
