PRAYER

Heavenly father, grant me each day the desire to do my best,

to grow mentally and morally as well as physically. To be
kind and helpful to my classmates and teachers, to be honest
with myself as well as with others. Help me to be a good
sport and smile when I lose as well as when I win. Teach me
the value of true friendship. Help me to always conduct
myself so as to bring credit to my school. Amen.

CLIMATIC PHENOMENA
ON GLOBAL LEVEL

Climatic phenomena affect people, living creatures and

the earth. They may also cause to increase earth’s
temperature and even bring extreme weather
conditions. We neeed to understand and to learn these
phenomena to gain deeper understanding of their
effects and what else we can do to protect the earth.
GLOBAL WARMING

It is the long-term heating of earth's climate system observed

since the pre-industrial period (between 1850 and 1900) due to
human activities, primarily fossil fuel burning, which
increases heat-trapping greenhouse gas levels in earth's
atmosphere.
The greenhouse effect is a process that occurs
when gases in earth's atmosphere trap the sun's
heat. This process makes earth much warmer than
it would be without an atmosphere. The
greenhouse effect is one of the things that makes
Greenhouse earth a comfortable place to live
Effect
Greenhouse gases include water vapour, carbon
dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone and some
artificial chemicals such as chlorofluorocarbons

El Niño

El Niño is a climate pattern that describes the unusual

warming of surface waters in the eastern pacific ocean.
La niña is a climate pattern that describes the cooling of
surface ocean waters along the tropical west coast of south
america. La nina is considered to be the counterpart to el nino

La Niña
Tropical Cyclone

Tropical cyclone, also called typhoon or hurricane, an intense circular storm that originates over
warm tropical oceans and is characterized by low atmospheric pressure, high winds, and heavy
rain.
