TOWER AND CELLULAR PHONE
OUR NARRATIVE REPORT
DURING OUR
AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
IN
BURGOS , ILOCOS SUR
 BRGY. CACABURAO

The Brgy. Cabcaburao was actively participated our

awareness campaign in their barangay consisting
students of elementary and high school, All Brgy. Officials
and Brgy. Tanod with the help of their supportive Brgy.
Captain.
 BRGY. MANABOC

Before they will have their monthly session we conducted our awareness
campaign with the presence of their SK Chairman, Brgy. Captain and Brgy.
Councils. Their barangay doesn’t have a cell tower but they desired to
construct, the barangay captain and the barangay treasurer are bidding the
contract however both of their land location are perilous. We explain the
biological effects, we encourage them to seek a safer place and remind
them that we must prioritize if what can benefit us most not only for two
person or families but for the sake of everyone, that money can make you
rich however our health is our wealth. They considered our opinions
regarding on that matter and they inform us that they are not knowledgeable
enough regarding the radiation of cellular towers and other gadgets. We
also conducted a house to house campaign because most people to their
Barangay are busy in drying their rice crops. They also suggest that we
must conduct an awareness campaign to the Municipal Mayor or other
officials to their respective town because their mayor owns a land where the
cellular tower was build.
Brgy. Taliao & brgy. Paduros

We conducted a house to house awareness campaign and some

group of people to their resting place in Brgy.Taliao and Brgy.
Paduros. Their respective Barangays are near in cellular towers.
In spite the fact that some of them do not know the radiation
coming from the cellular towers, we give them a deeper
explanation regarding the effects or impact of radiation to our
health.
Brgy. SUBADI SUR & brgy. SUDADI NORTE

In Brgy. Subadi Sur, Brgy. Subadi Norte, and Brgy. Dirdirig it was done by a house
to house awareness campaign and to the group of on duty Brgy. Officials and
Brgy.Tanod to the hall and information’s desk. It was explained to them the risk of
being exposed to radiation and the negative effects of cellular towers to humans
and animals.
 Brgy. Bangbangar

It was conducted before they will end their Brgy. Monthly Session, our
respondents are the SK Chairman, Brgy.Councils and the Brgy.
Captain. Their barangay has planned regarding the building of cellular
tower and they have already agreed in one location we are not sure if
they already signed the contract but when it was discussed to them the
effects of cellular towers most of them are planning to change the
location. We also discussed to them the effects of cellular phones in our
daily lives and some proper usage.
 BRGY. CALLITONG

In Brgy. Callitong most of our respondents are students, parents,

and their Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman their Barangay is near
in Cellular towers so we’ve discussed to them the effects to the
humans and animals and the effects of Cellular phones to them
especially the proper use on it. Just to make them enjoy the
Awareness Campaign all of the participants joined the raffle, and
our prizes are plasticwares than can be used to their homes.
Brgy. DIRDIRIG AND BRGY. NAGPANAOAN

These Barangays has a cellular towers in their Barangay, some of

them are not aware to the radiation coming from the cellular
towers so we’ve discussed to them the effects to us humans to the
animals, especially to the farmers who have crops and animals
near on the site.
