CHARACTERIZATION
For the school year 2019-2020, Balingasag North district has faced
some challenges in the field of education. The district supervisor
together with the school heads conducted innovation to address the
different challenges such as closely monitoring the implementation of
the reading program to address the problem of non-readers and
improve the reading condition of the frustration, instructional and
independent readers. As a result 11 out of 13 schools successfully
implemented the program and the 2 out of 13 schools are still on the
process of designing the program. The division office also provided the
inputs through seminar about the program. The program schedule of 6
out of 13 schools which are located in the mountainous area sometimes
cannot be followed due to disruption of classes such as weather
condition and other natural calamities.(strength)
CHARACTERIZATION
Another, the 95% of all learning competencies in all learning
areas are merged and unpacked. The PSDS conducted a
seminar on merging and unpacking of learning competencies
and closely monitored the performance level of the pupils. The
school head conducted seminar workshop about merging of
competencies 90% of the strategies stated in the lesson plans
does not meet the learning styles of the learners. 100%
allocation of budget from the SEF 2019 for the school perimeter
fence. The payment for special patent can be taken
from MOOE but 5 out of 13 schools have special patent. 3 out
of 13 schools priority projects are on stage construction
