• The Planning carried out by the Engineering

Department on initiation of the proposal for a

Project either from Public or Government.

• A brief Report submitted to convince the

Government and Public and for the acceptance

of the proposal by Competent Administrative

Authority

What is Preliminary Estimate?

• It is the Approximate or Rough Cost Estimate of

the proposed work prepared for Administrative

Approval. It is accompanied by Layout Plan or

Site plan and a Brief Report of the Project

information provided in the Project Report.
