FABRICATION OF GRAVITY

POWER GENERATION
ABSTRACT
• A new method is proposed for harnessing of human power based on children's
play in playgrounds and public places, on devices such as the seesaw, merry-
go-round, and swing. When large numbers of children play in a playground,
part of the power of their play can be usefully harnessed resulting in
significant energy storage.
• This stored energy can then be converted to electricity for powering basic,
low-power appliances such as lights, fans, communications equipment, and so
on. The method provides a low-cost, low-resource means of generation of
electricity, especially for use in developing countries.
• The paper discusses the basic theory behind the method. Results of
experiments on a laboratory prototype compressed air human power
conversion system using a teeter-totter are presented to illustrate the
practical effectiveness of the proposed method.
INTRODUCTION
• The use of fossil fuels and other non-reusable sources of energy must be reduced
in order to keep emissions low and alleviate the use of diminishing resources. The
idea of human powered generation has been implemented in many different
situations.
• Some examples include hand-crank radios, shaking flashlights, and receiving
power from gym equipment. The DC House Project is a humanitarian effort that
provides an enclosure with lighting and a power sources.
• Through the use of wind, solar, hydro, and human generated power, the system is
provided with DC power. The goal of the human powered generator is to
implement a seesaw in a playground where we can harness the energy of kids into
real power.
• The use of playground equipment for a clean source of energy would harness the
seemingly endless energy of young children. It would provide them a means to
exercise while unknowingly supplying power.
OBJECTIEVE
 To producing electricity from free energy while children playing in ground.

 The model of seesaw developed and for this work.

WORKING
• The seesaw is fixed with top of the frame.
• The shaft connected with dynamo
• Whenever the children playing the shaft get rotates
• Due to the shaft rotation dynamo shaft gets rotates and produce
electricity.
• The dynamo is working as a generator because which is a main role of this
project.
• The dynamo is to converts mechanical rotating motion to electric power
which is connected with LED by using wires.
• The LED is used to display the electric power to produce light.

ADVANTAGES
• Very easy method
• Simple in construction
• To generate power easily
• Less cost
APPLICATIONS
• Central parks
• The same setup is suitable for another playgames
conclusion
In short, the project was a success in proving the concept that electrical
energy can be harnessed from human power, specifically in the act of
operating makeshift playground equipment. Moreover, members of the
group increased their knowledge and understanding of engineering design
concepts, mechanical/electrical systems, and project management.
