Step by step dissecting the images: step 1

Go to lasso Tool then right click and select Polygonal Lasso Tool
Step 2

Zoom into the image using Alt then then scroll wheel this allows to see closer to the image then trace the outline of the section of
the building you want to dissect from he building with the polygonal Lasso Tool
Step 3

Once the section is selected right click on the layer at the bottom right then select Duplicate Layer.
Step 4

Then Select -> inverse

Step 5

Then hide the background layer
