FUTURE FORMS

WILL

• Situations: it’s used to talk about events in a distance future and for
making predictions about the future

• Structure: subject + will + verb in the infinitive


EXAMPLES

• Afirmative: The global warming will incredibly rise if nothing be


made about it.

• Negative: The global warming won`t rise if some measures be taken about it.

• Question: Will the global warming stop in the future?


GOING TO

• Situations: it’s used to talk about future plans, intentions and events that
will happen in a certain date in the future

• Structure: subject + be + going to + verb in the infinitive


EXAMPLES

• Afirmative: We are going to host a Kahoot game after our presentation.

• Negative: Our group aren´t going to finish the presentation now.

• Question: Are you going to play it?


PRESENT PROGRESSIVE

• Situations: it’s used to talk about actions that are happening now

• Structure: subject + be + ing verb


EXAMPLES

• Afirmative: We are finishing our presentation.

• Negative: We aren´t talking about the past tenses.

• Question: Are you watching the presentation?
