Move Screen Share to my

Computer
When sharing from the Webex App paired with a
device, the shared screen is duplicated on the Cisco
Room/Desk device minimizing the participant’s
videos.
To improve the companion experience while
joining a call with paired device, the user now has a
new option to move the shared content to only the
computer.
The Room/Desk device can be dedicated to
showing participants to allow better interaction

Spam indication for

incoming calls
• STIR/SHAKEN is a new FCC mandate to combat spoofed calls, which provides mechanism for
Service providers (SP) to validate and mark spam calls (https://www.fcc.gov/call-authentication)
• The feature leverages information from SPs to provide an indication to users if call is a potential
spam or robo call with following icons on Webex app and Phones:
• Verified caller: The caller’s identity is known by the service provider
• Possible spam: The service provider cannot verify the identity of the caller, but can identify
the originating PBX
• Potential fraud: The caller’s Caller ID appears to be tampered or spoofed
• Administrators can define organization level policy to:
• Block all “Potential fraud” calls
• Disable notifications for “Possible spam” calls on clients
• Improves the answer rate for legitimate calls
• Reduces wasted time from robocalls, and the security risk from callers with spoofed/tampered
Caller ID
• Depends on the PSTN SP implementing STIR/SHAKEN framework
*Supported devices: Webex App, MPP phones & IP DECT devices

Simultaneous
Interpretation
Simultaneous Interpretation is a Webex feature
allowing live translations of meetings. Human
translators will listen to the original audio and provide
an audio track in a different language. Attendees can
choose the language track they want to listen to.
Using Webex devices (with RoomOS 11), attendees
can choose a language and the audio mix (original
audio vs. the translated audio).
Interpreters are required to use a Webex client.
This feature requires the Webex site to be enabled for
Simultaneous Interpretation.

how their audio appears to others.
Record a sound sample and play it back. You can play
it several times, previewing the different noise
