The collision of good versus the evil, the battle, Husain (R) versus Yazid.

The ruler of Kufa, Yazid-didn’t meet the criteria of deen.

Rule the people with fear and evil deeds.
Enforced his allegiance.
Being a righteous man, Husain R.A refused pledging his allegiance to Yazid & said
these famous words:

"Anyone akin to me will never accept anyone akin to Yazid as a

ruler.
 The people of Kufa invited Husain (R) to pledge their
allegiance to him instead of their ruler-Yazid. Trusting
their words, Husain (R) left for Kufa.

 Unfortunately, the Kufians betrayed and Yazid’s army took

Husain and his supporters to Karbala, where they camped.

 Yazid ordered his army to seize Hussain (R) allegiance of loyalty17
using all the brutal means.

 So, they cut off the necessities to the camp, including access to
water. The camp consisted of Imam Husain (R), his family, friends,
and companions.

extreme tyranny and
oppression.
