Cell organelle

By; Jennifer England

A cell is like a house.
Nucleus
While the nucleus is the control
center of the cell, people control
everything inside the house.
Golgi Apparatus
The Golgi apparatus packages/delivers
proteins.
A mailbox to a house sends and receives
mail.
Endoplasmic Reticulum
The Endoplasmic Reticulum are passages for
proteins to move through the cell.
The chimney for the fire place is a passage way
for smoke to exit, while heating the house.
Vacuole
The vacuole stores food/water/and waste.
Inside of the house is where food and
water is stored.
Cell Membrane
The cell membrane regulates what goes in
and out of the cell, the front door of a
house is where everything comes in and
out of the house.
Mitochondrion
The mitochondrion is the powerhouse of
the cell.
Electricity provides energy for the house.
Cell Wall
The cell wall protects, supports and gives
structure to the cell.
The house itself and everything outside of
it protects and holds it up.
Ribosome
Ribosome's produce protein.
A water heater to a house produces
hot water.
Comparison of plant and animal
cell
A plant cell have cell walls and a animal cell
doesn't. A plant cell does photosynthesis and
cell respiration but the animal cell does cell
respiration only. A plant cell has chloroplast
and is green the animal cell doesn’t have
chloroplasts and is not the color green. A plant
cell has one large central vacuole and a
animal cell has many small vacuoles. A plant
cell is square and a animal cell is any shape.
