TEXT
One day, Tom's best friend, John, decided to invite him over to his house to try and understand what
was going on with him. Tom was reluctant at first, but he eventually agreed to go. When he arrived,
John asked after his well-being and how life was treating him. Tom hesitated for a moment, then
opened up about his struggles.
He confessed that he felt like an 800-pound gorilla was constantly weighing him down. He had been
aiming at achieving many things in life, but everything seemed to be falling apart. Tom felt like a
barking dog that rarely bit, as he would vent out his frustrations but never took any concrete actions.
John listened attentively and tried to beef up his friend's spirits, reminding him of his strengths and
accomplishments. He advised Tom to stop bitching up his opportunities and to take charge of his
life. "You need to account for your actions and choices," John said firmly.
