34)
identify health – related fitness components of physical
activities;
discuss health – related fitness component in physical
activities; and
compose a poem about the different health-related
components related
to your daily activity routine.
WHAT IS A HEALTH-RELATED FITNESS COMPONENT?

▪ These are components that promote


health and prevent the diseases and
problems associated with physical
activities.
THESE ARE COMPONENTS THAT PROMOTE HEALTH AND PREVENT
THE DISEASES AND PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH PHYSICAL
ACTIVITIES.

▪ Cardiovascular Endurance. This is the ability of the heart and circulatory system to supply enough
oxygen to muscles for a longer
period of time.
▪ Muscular Strength. This is the ability of the muscles to produce effort or
perform work in a short period of time.
▪ Flexibility. This is the ability of the body part to move on it’s a full
range of motion at a joint.
▪ Body Composition. This is the proportion rate of body fat to lean body mass.
