STRESS
 It is our mental, physical,
emotional, and behavioral
reactions to any perceived
demands or threats. 
Fight or Flight Response
When situations seem threatening to us, our bodies react
quickly to supply protection by preparing to take action.
What makes something stressful

• Situation that have strong demands


• Situation that are imminent
• Life transitions
• Ambiguity

Eustress
It is defined as the positive cognitive response to
stress that is healthy
Distress
It is a continuous experience of feeling overwhelmed,
oppressed, and behind in our responsibilities.
Why do we Stress Out?
● We perceive a situation as dangerous, difficult,
or painful.
Why do we Stress Out?
● We don't believe we have the resources to
cope.
