Tactics to memorize more easily
• Mnemonic
Associate part of the spelling/pronunciation of the target
word to a word in Indonesian  create a mental image
(picture / visualization in your mind) using that part of
word  relate that mental image to the original
meaning.
Mnemonics
• I memorize the meaning of “awesome” (menakjubkan) by linking the
pronunciation of that word, which resembles “asem!”, to an imagination
of someone saying “Asem! Sungguh menakjubkan”. That way, I will
remember the meaning of ‘awesome’ more easily. This strategy is
called MNEMONICS.
