DIVISIBILITY RULE OF 5,10
DIVISIBILITY MEANING

• If you divide one number by another, the result is a whole


number without a remainder.
• Another way of saying this is that every whole number is
divisible by its factors.
• Every number is divisible by itself and by 1, but most numbers
are also divided by other factors.

• A number is divisible by 5 if it has 5,0 in its ones


place.

Now Let’s take an example to explain the concept in detail:-


Eg1:- 135 5Here, 135 has 5 at its ones place so it is divisible by 5;
Eg2:- 220 0Here 220 has 0 at its ones place so it is divisible by 5.
DIVISIBILITY RULE OF 10

• A number is divisible by 10 if it has 0 in its ones place.

Now Let’s take an example to explain the concept in detail:-


Eg1:- 13000 Here, 1300 has 0 at its ones place so it is divisible by 10;
