Sponsorship Project
Provide financial assistance and educational material from primary to
higher education
 to deserving and needy students to pursue their education.

Build Parent's motivation to support children for education.

 Motivate for children for vocational training and gave career guidance.

Guide and help them through sessions and activities for improvement
scholastic performance.

Develop self confidence and personality through workshops. Create their


awareness in hygiene and general cleanliness, and improve their life skills.

Reading class Project
Imparting appropriate reading skills and develop
Interest in reading
Coverage: 1320 Students from class 1st to 4th from 11 Corporation
schools

Highlights:
Classes conducted by educated girls in the community called book fairies
Books distribution as per reading level of children (Availability of approximately 11000
books on various topics)
Loud reading by every child
Home lending facility for children and parents.
stimulate and motivate the children. Provide interactive methodologies and different
ways of learning.
Give a wide range of books and bring various reading aids.
Support the government school.
Helping the children to read will make them more comfortable in their studies, therefore
the outcome should be to reduce stagnation and dropout rates.

WaSH Project (Water, Hygiene and Sanitation)
Started in June 2014, in Collaboration with Kirloskar Foundation.
Working among 1st to 7th Standard children in 11 PMC schools.
Creating awareness on Personal Hygiene, hand-washing, waste management
adolescent hygiene
1900 children are covered.
Remarkable impact of these activities is children become very conscious and
aware about hygiene habits.
Impact – Parents are also aware about it. Some parents told that we learn
about waste management. More understanding and interest in learning
More Adolescence hygiene. More self-confidence and creativity

More Cleanliness in school and home. Less absenteeism for illness

Chetana Project
Started Chetana project from 2018 collaboration with 4 NGO’s
and PMC Education Department strengthening for PMC preschool
Working with PMC teachers hand to hand to helping for child de-
velopment.
SJF implementing 10 PMC school with 5 teachers and 1 supervisor
with 430 preschool children.
Based on “Aakar” Syllabus.

Implementation, monitoring, training, review by CORE committee.

Annapurna Project
Among 40 families widow and single parents 168 family members
are beneficiaries from Kashewadi, Lohiyanagar, Ganjpeth and Janwadi.
Distribution of raw nutritional foods to families.
Family strengthening component.
Cooking demonstrations
 Increase the awareness about health, hygiene, nutrition, family budgeting,
savings, parenting and relationship.

Help to avail various government schemes and documents.

 Information about vocational training and income generation.

Sneh-Prerana Project
Voluntary group formed by Ex-students of sponsorship
Program.

70 volunteers expressed willingness to serve for other children


like them.

20 groups formed- consisting of 4-5 volunteers each serving


15-20 children.

Activities related to personality development, life skills value


addition conducted once a week.

SJF giving technical support to volunteers to organise the activites and


programmes.
