 Lay down standard of skills to be attained and continually review
as necessitated by societal, technological and national need
(Curriculum)
 Advice the Federal Government on all aspect of Technical and
Vocational Education (Location, Need etc)
 Determine the skilled middle level manpower need of the country
in consultation with Industrial Training Fund and national
manpower board (Programmes to be offered by Polytechnics and
Colleges of Technology to maximize use of available resource
and to avoid duplication]
