INTRODUCTION

"Online shopping is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly buy
goods or services from a seller over the Internet using a web browser or a mobile app.
Consumers find a product of interest by visiting the website of the retailer directly or by
searching among alternative vendors using a shopping search engine, which displays the same
product's availability and pricing at different e-retailers. “
So, here we are discussing about some of the online shopping platforms named as
1) Amazon 4) Nykaa
2) Flipkart 5) Ajio
3) Meesho 6) Myntra
OBJECTIVES

 To identify the relationship of demographical factors that influence online shopping


 To study the preferences of the consumers toward online shopping.
 To study the satisfaction level of the consumers while they shop online.
 To know about the buying process , Customer satisfaction, Identifying Factors,
Influencing Purchase decision.
 To evaluate the effectiveness of online shopping platforms.

 Online shopping allows us to explore and purchase products from all around the world,
you can access the global market
 Online shoppings provide the convenience of browsing and purchasing products.
 Online shopping breaks down barriers and provides access to products for people and
allows individuals to shop independently and comfortably from their own homes.
 Online retailers often offer competitive prices and exclusive discounts, making it easier to
find deals and save money.
AMAZON

 Amazon.com is an e-commerce platform that sells many


product lines, including media (books, movies, music, and software),
apparel, baby products, consumer electronics, beauty products,
gourmet food, groceries, health and personal care products, industrial
& scientific supplies, kitchen items, jewelry, watches, lawn.
 Amazon sells many products under its own brand names, including
phone chargers, batteries, and diaper wipes. The AmazonBasics brand India Se Bani, India ki Apni Dukaan
was introduced in 2009, and now features hundreds of product lines,
including smartphone cases, computer mice, batteries, dumbbells, and
dog crates. Amazon owned 34 private-label brands as of 2019.
FLIPKART

 "Flipkart Private Limited is an Indian e-commerce


company, headquartered in Bangalore, and incorporated in
Singapore as a private limited company. The company initially
focused on online book sales before expanding into other
product categories such as consumer electronics, fashion, home
essentials, groceries, and lifestyle products.“
 Flipkart was founded in October 2007 in Mumbai by Sachin 'Har wish hogi poori'
Bansal and Binny Bansal, alumni of the IIT, Delhi and former
Amazon employees. The company initially focused on online
book sales with country-wide shipping. Flipkart slowly grew in
prominence and was receiving 100 orders per day by 2008.
Meesho

 Meesho is a Bengaluru-based social e-commerce company


founded by IIT Delhi graduates Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev
Barnwal in December 2015. It is one of the best zero
investment reselling platforms for small businesses.
 Meesho charges the lowest shipping cost for deliveries across
India (for GST sellers) and within the state (for non-GST
sellers). Payment is securely deposited directly to your bank
account on Meesho following a 7-day payment cycle from
order delivery, including Cash on Delivery orders.

 Nykaa is an Indian e-commerce company headquartered in


Mumbai. It sells beauty, wellness and fashion products through
its website, mobile app, and over 100 physical stores. In 2020, it

 Nykaa launched retail outlets in the name of Nykaa Luxe which
sells premium and luxury products, and Nykaa On Trend, which
sells the products available on the website. Beauty kiosks are set
up with Beauty assistants who help first-time customers choose Your Beauty, Our Passion

AJIO

 Reliance Retail is an Indian retail company and a subsidiary of


Reliance Industries. Founded in 2006, it is the largest retailer in
India in terms of revenue. Its retail outlets offer foods, groceries,
apparel, footwear, toys, home improvement products, electronic
goods, and farm implements and inputs.
 Ajio is an Indian online fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform.
It offers a wide range of clothing, footwear, accessories, and home
décor products.
 Ajio is known for curating a diverse selection of trendy and doubt is out”.

MYNTRA

 Myntra was founded in 2007 by Mukesh Bansal, Ashutosh


Lawania, and Vineet Saxena as an online personalized gift
retailer. The company gradually transitioned its focus to
fashion and lifestyle products due to their increasing
popularity in the Indian market.
 Myntra aims at providing a hassle free and enjoyable
shopping experience to shoppers across the country with
the widest range of brands and products on its portal.

 Online shopping platforms have transformed the way we shop, offering convenience, a

Ajio , Myntra . These platforms have revolutionized the way we shop and order
