• As Kitchen is usually a dangerous place to
work.
• To avoid the accidents and procure the safety
rules the 3 following point to be kept in mind :

• Distraction in kitchen is the major source of
accident may be dangerous.
• Each and every equipment to be handled
according to be SOP ( Standard operative
procedures )
HASTE
• A chef / cook has to finish his/her work in
given time.
• Mis en place have to be kept ready before
starting an operation and to set up the station.
• The golden rule in Kitchen- not to run , n
matter how urgent the task is.
FAILURE TO OBSERVE RULES AND
REGULATIONS
• In a busy kitchen machineries are used to
reduce the effort of cook/ chefs.
• While handling machines utmost care to be
taken to avoid the fatal accidents.
• SOP to be followed while handling an
equipments inside and outside the kitchen.
