MENTAL HEALTH

Mental Health refers to a person’s psychological, emotional and


social well-being. It influences on what we feel and think, it can lead of causing
many different mental illnesses that may highly affects our lifestyle. Our
Mental Health also impacts our decision-making procedure, how we deal with
stress and how we connect with others in our lives. Students with healthy
mind are able to efficiently cope up with academic stress. Their mind is strong
and capable enough to face the fierce competition and succeed in realizing
their goals but they are also the one who mostly suffers different kinds of
mental issues. A mental illness is a kind of illness that happens in the brain. It
leads to disturbances in our thinking, energy, emotion, or behavior. Unresolved
mental illness contributes to poor physical health, higher medical expenditure,
inferior performance in workplace and school, less job opportunities, and
increased chances of suicide. Anxiety and Mood are the most common mental
illnesses that may affect our lives because there is a lot of possibilities that it
will end up in depression.
Symptoms of Anxiety include feelings of nervousness, panic attack,
fear, shaking of hands and a rapid heart beat. Adolescent today, are known
for many things such as being lazy, spoiled, addicted to social media,
fragile and much more. But one trait in particular stands out. Teenagers
also known for being the most mentally ill generation specially those
students who suffers a lot of problems about their academic and school
performances and being pressured. So that, we need to keep our mental
health healthy by sleeping and eating healthy foods at proper time,
perform regular exercises, focus on positivity, and set goals and priorities.
