PE Snow Day
Challenges
Objectives: To make a recreational fun activity apply
planning, creativity and tactical awareness (Head), To
enjoy your time playing the snow (Heart), To get
students physically active (Hands).
Disclaimer • All these tasks will involve either being
outside in the snow or using a more
academic approach to draw or describe
the practical task (if injured or cannot get
outside). As part of a disclaimer for safety,
please ask parent/guardian permission
before going outside and dress
appropriately for the weather conditions.

• All challenges can be sent in using photo


evidence and best attempts will be
rewarded with credits and maybe a
picture on the greyhound.
Challenge 1:
Build the most creative snowman.
Challenge 2:
• Make the biggest pile of
snowballs that you can (count
how many as you go).
Challenge 3:
Create a sculpture in the snow.
Challenge 4:
Can you create a pattern in the snow
using creative methods such as snow
angels.
Challenge 5:
Longest throw with a
snowball. Measure this
using your own strides.
