What is the difference between
teaming and collaboration based
on the image?
Collaborative Teaching

 Students learn better when they learn from others.

 Based on the principle of Synergy, what a whole group of students can do is
more that the sum of what each student can do separately.
 Students learn better cooperatively than in a competitive atmosphere.
 Working in a group is less threatening than working alone.
How is it done?

 Collaboration: to work with a person or a group to produce or create something.

 Every member can share something in the attainment of the goal and each member’s
contribution may VARY according to one’s capacity.
 Collaborative learning operates on respect and trust for any relationship to prosper.
 The tasked are structured so that the group goal cannot be achieved without the members
collaborating.
 The task does not end with assessment but in a group reflecting and analyzing what made
them or not realize their group goal.
