One of the negative effects of technology in education
are students are becoming highly dependent on the
devices to complete their work rather depending on
their own knowledge or on what they have learned.
The negative side of technology in education is
1) Losing assignment of students
2) Insufficient teaching methods
3) Waste of time
4) Huge Expenditure
5) Major source of distraction
Different perspectives on technological
change
Current digital system such as computers, smart
phones, tablets and laptops has evolved over time. The
typewriter was replace by digital systems such as a
computer and word processing software. Telephones
have evolved over time into versions that are portable
such as mobile phones and smart phones.
 Internet
The internet is a vast network that connects any
electronic devices all over the world. Through the
Internet, people can share information and
communicate from anywhere with an Internet
connection.
 Advantages of the Internet
The advantages of the internet are
1) Information
2) Business
3) Communication
4) Entertainment
5) Education and much more.
Disadvantages of the Internet
One of the disadvantages of the internet is as said in previous
slides is that students depend on the internet for their school
work more than their own knowledge on the subject, not only
that but the internet as said earlier is a major source of
distraction.
Main disadvantages of the internet
1) Addiction
2) Cyber-bullying
3) Cheating
4) Hacking
5) Stalkers and much more.
