VISUAL INFORMATION
Various visual media with or without sound that
generally includes still and motion photography,
audio video recording, graphics arts, and visual
presentations.
VISUAL INFORMATION
A picture speaks a thousand words.
EXAMPLES:
ILLUSTRATION
a decoration, interpretation, or visual explanation of a text,
concept or process, designed for integration in print and
digitally published media, such as posters, flyers
magazines, books teaching materials, animations, video
games and films.
 PHOTOGRAPHY
an art of capturing light with a camera usually via a
digital sensor or film, to create an image.
 SYMBOL
a mark, sign or word that indicates, signifies or understood as
representing an idea, object, or relationship, symbols allow
people to go beyond what is known or seen by creating
linkages between otherwise very different concept and
experiences.
 MAP
Geographic representation, drawn to scale and usually on a
flat surface, of features—for example, geological, or
geopolitical of an area of the earth or of any celestial body.
VISUAL MEDIA
The information that a person gets from
ideogram, statistical visualization, picture,
graphic design, video and 3-D image.
EXAMPLES:
 VIDEO
If graphic design is the combination of text and
pictures, video is the combination of motion
picture, or of motion and audio.
 GRAPHIC DESIGN
This refers to the art of combining text and
pictures to communicate information,
infographic, posters and graphic advertisement
are considered as graphic design.
 PICTURE
Photography, painting, drawing it is use widely
by people to express their ideas, opinions and
sentiments.
 3-D IMAGE
A 3 dimensional visual medium

Visual information are the information
from and depend on visual media. Visual
media on the other hand, is the source of
information that you get from it.
