Measuring Effectiveness
Measuring effectiveness is often overlooked in strategy development and implementation but
plays an incredibly critical role in ensuring that objectives are achieved, and money and time
invested are worth it.
The PIVOT model is one model that covers the digital transformation process. It is
not the only model available but can be effective.

Digital ROI
Managing the digital transformation process and reaching strategic goals can be done by
measuring digital ROI. This can be done through a digital ROI framework.
Digital ROI framework
Need to balance, and measure, digital investments across six strategic focus areas:
– Customers
Each of these focus areas are associated with specific
– Employees
metrics and related key performance indicators
– Operations (KPIs) that allow companies to track and measure the
impact of their digital initiatives more accurately,
– Safety and soundness reset the implementation process when necessary, and
make teams accountable for their roles in achieving
– Infrastructure
the desired transformation goals.
– Disruption and innovation
