Speech organs position:
The tongue tip near the bottom of the mouth. It is the front of the tongue that comes up to almost
the alveolar ridge and the little bit of hard palate next to it. As the breath squeezes past, we get [sh],
as in “shall”; add sound and we get […], as in “measure”. The tongue tip does not come to the
alveolar ridge for that.
