Definitions of Workplaces Erginomics

Ergonomics ( or human factors ) is the scientific dicipline concerned with the understanding of the
interaction among human and other elements of a systems , and the profession that applies theory ,
principles , data and methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and oversll system
proformance.

DEFINITION MUSCULO-SKELETAL-DISORDER ( MSD )

Soft tissue injuries caused by sudden or sustained exposure to repetitive motion , force , vibration and
awkward position. This disorder can affect muscles , nerves , tendons , joints and cartilage in upper and
lower limbs , neck and lowet back.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the integration of ergonomics in workplaces is paramount for promoting a harmonious
relationship between employees and their work environments. By prioritizing the design and arrangement
of workspaces, tools, and tasks to align with human capabilities, ergonomics enhances both the physical
and mental well-being of workers. This proactive approach not only mitigates the risk of musculoskeletal
disorders and injuries but also contributes to increased productivity, job satisfaction, and overall
organizational success. As we navigate an ever-evolving work landscape, the continued emphasis on
ergonomics remains crucial for creating sustainable, inclusive, and health-conscious workplaces that
prioritize the welfare of employees and foster a culture of well-being and productivity.
