What do we mean by an academic


study?
Definition:
Academic writing is a formal style of writing that the majority of university students, teachers and
researchers are required to compose with it different styles of writing in their scholarly
publication(such as term papers, exam answers and essays). It is focused on evidence-based arguments
and logical reasoning to guide a reader’s understanding of a subject.
Types of academic writing(part 1/2):
Descriptive writing: Analytical writing:

3)-Organization: it is a matter of prioritizing and structures.
4)-Style: adding your touches to the work can improve it.
5)-Presentation: the way you present your work can make a different.
