1. Cardiologist – a doctor who specializes in the study of treatment of
heart diseases and heart abnormalities.
2. Dermatologist – a specialist doctor who manages diseases related to
skin, hair nails and some cosmetic problems
3. Gastroenterologists - a medical practitioner qualified to diagnose
and treat disorders of the stomach and intestines
4. Geriatrician – doctors in the branch of medicine or social science
dealing with the health and care of old people.
5. Gynecologists – doctors who specialize in women’s health, with a
focus on the female reproductive system.
6. Neurologist – are medical professionals who specialize in
diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the nervous system.
7. Orthopedist – a physician who corrects congenital or functional
abnormalities of the bones with surgery, casting and bracing.
8. Ophthalmologist - a specialist in the branch of medicine concerned
with the study and treatment of disorders and diseases of the eye
9. Pediatrician – a medical practitioner specializing in children and
their diseases.
10. Gynecologists – a person who studies and treats medical conditions
of the lungs and respiratory system.
Healthcare Plan
1. Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) – a type of
health plan where an individual employed in a company or
self-employed enrolls to secure their hospitalization and
other health expenses.
2. Health Insurance Plan– can be paid for which includes
certain amount of money to be used during
hospitalizations. This cannot be used yet unless fully paid.
3. PhilHealth – a government agency that enjoins
employees both in government and private to pay for their
monthly contribution which will be used for their
hospitalization.
