Public order – includes prevention and management of behaviors or situations that could disturb the
peaceful functioning of society. It ensures individual’s well-being without violence, disturbances, or
threats.
Public safety – refers to the protection of individuals and communities against harm such as criminal
activities, accidents, or natural disasters. Public safety measures are designed to reduce risk and
respond effectively to various threats.

to the public.

• Involve the community in decision-making processes and seek input on public order policies.
