Functions of nouns OBJECT
The noun, standing after the main
verb of a sentence, receives the
action of the verb.
SUBJECT Ex: I love my family.
The noun, standing at the beginning
of a sentence, performs the action.
Ex: Cats are beautiful animals.
DIRECT OBJECT
The noun that directly receives the
action of the verb.
Ex: She bought a new car.
