o Makolekta ang mga datos ng barangay mula sa iba’t ibang sources o

mapagkukunan at matukoy ang mga kulang na datos at impormasyon

Sinu-sino ang o BDC Technical Working Group (TWG)/ Sectoral Planning Groups with
maaaring community volunteers as members (with IP and women leaders)

BDP Step 2:
Updating the Barangay Database/ Profile

▪ In updating the Barangay Databases/Profile, barangays are highly

encourage to utilize existing systems and/or databases at the local level to
avoid duplication of data gathering activities.

▪ All barangays shall update their respective Registry of Barangay

Inhabitants (RBIs) every 6 months

▪ The Barangay Outcome Planning Information System or BOPIS (set of

planning indicators) will be the guide of the barangays in gathering
relevant datasets to be used in the planning process
BDP Step 2:
Updating the Barangay Database/ Profile

▪ When available, the following databases and documents, among others

shall be utilized in updating the barangay profile
• CBMS
• Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment
• Latest BDP
• CDP of the Municipality/City

▪ In cases where there is no data or updated database, the barangay shall

conduct its primary data gathering through household surveys and other
tools/means to gather detailed information

▪ Ito ang “snapshot” o larawan ng barangay sa isang partikular na panahon

▪ Mahahalagang impormasyon at batayan sa “evidence-based planning”
▪ Ito ang pagsasalarawan ng 5 development sectors o pillars - panlipunang

(infrastructure), kapaligiran/mga natural na rekurso (environment) at mga

• Kumuha ng feedback o puna sa mga tao hinggil sa kaakmaan o accuracy ng mga nakuhang datos.
