 There are 26 areas where call setup failure is
recorded. The respected sites on which call setup
failure happens are 244007, 244011 and
244015 .

 Observation :- Call setup failure occurs on 244553 sec B. This happens because of high level of SDCCH
congestion
on 244553 site. CS call attempt failure status is timeout before connection. Extended channel type is SDCCH.

observed on the call flow. Which indicates there is high level of SDCCH congestion on 244553 site.

 Observation :- As seen above there is high TCH & SDCCH congestion on 244553 and high TCH congestion is
seen on 244542. The above sites 2G configuration is low and need to be upgraded.

adjusting physical antenna parameter.

CONCLUSION :
 Bonga city 2G coverage and quality performance is very good.

 There are 6 call setup failures and no call drops encountered.

 2 HO failures are encountered.

 Cross feeders are encountered on 2 sites.

 TCH and SDCCH congestion is high on 244553. TCH congestion is high on some cells of 244542,
244058, 244059 and 244060.

CONCLUSION AND ACTION PLAN
ACTION PLAN :

 To improve network coverage around poor coverage areas we will adjust physical antenna parameter
on the following sites. Up tilt ET 244059 sector C&G, down tilt 244058 sector A&F, down tilt 244553
sector B, down tilt MT 244057 sec 1&3, down tilt MT 244058 sec 3, up tilt ET 244059 sector B&F.

 Azimuth adjustment on 244553 sector 1 & 2. Sector 1 from 340 to 0 deg, and sector 2 from 30 to 80
deg.

 Upgrade 244553 G900 configuration from G4/4/4 to G6/6/6 and also add D1800 configuration with
6/6/6 TRX. Upgrade 244542 DCS1800 configuration from D4/4/4 to D8/8/8. Upgrade 244060 DCS1800
configuration from D4/4/4 to D8/8/8.

 Neighbour definition on some cells is also recommended.

 Cross feeder will be corrected by swapping CPRI cables.

 FN5 is attached with this report and after validation, the changes will be implemented.
