Learning Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to
Main : listen to and label the at least 5 pictures correctly in pairs.
Supplementary: read and fill in correctly at least 3 words in pairs.
Pre lesson
1. Pupils sits in a circle. Pupils play vocabulary game. Pupils take turn to say words related
to Free Time. All reasonable answers are accepted.
Lesson Delivery
2. Pupils are guided to read aloud the words.
3. Pupils then work in pairs and match words to pictures (Activity 1) . Lower level pupils
are guided to complete the task. Teacher reads and pupils write the answers.
4. Pupils listen to the Track 1.02 and check the answers.
5. Pupils read aloud the words in Activity 2.
6. Pupils try to guess the meaning of each words by looking at sentences and pictures as
clue.
7. Pupils work in pairs and complete Activity 2. Lower level pupils are guided to complete
the task. Teacher guides them to read and pupils write the answers.
8. Pupils listen to track 1.03 and check the answers.
Post Lesson
9. Pupils sits in pairs and play hangman using the words that they learned today.
