How can we Promote Numeracy in our
Classrooms?
• Use working drawings with key measurements missing
• Working with new measurements -millimetre
• Working with scale (1:2)
• Measuring material with hand tools
• Relate math to everyday life
• Make equations relating to school news such as the score in the
match yesterday plus the number of this classroom equals the missing
measurement.
