PROPAGANDA PROJECT AO1 and AO3
INTRODUCTION
We looked at propaganda in WWII and some from the Cold War. It is now time to take
matters into our own hands and for you to apply what you have learned.

Your goal is to make a propaganda poster. The theme of your poster should be on one of
the school clubs/organizations/events or the school itself (uniform, rules, etc.). It can be
negative or positive. (though it should not be PERSONAL). Choose an aspect of the
school that you want to visually highlight in either a positive or negative (critical) way. It
can and should be “Over the Top” As Gojek says, “it’s ok to be Lebih”
TASK SPECIFIC CLARIFCATION
Create and print a Propaganda Poster
Remember Propaganda creates an “us versus them feeling” in some ways it is “backwards
advertising”
• Format Poster = A3 paper with an aesthetically pleasing design
Visuals Good symbols, images/visuals, etc.
• Message Clear, persuasive, and to the point
• Explanation A short 200-word description of the tactics used to convey your
message. Sent as a separate word document. Why did you use the design you
did? Why did you use the visuals you did? What tactic did you use: fear, shock, duty,
justice, pride, power, greed, etc?
