THOUGHTS
FEELINGS
BEHAVIORS
LET US EVALUATE
YOUR:
BEHAVIOR-refers to the
range of action and
mannerism made by
individuals, organisms in
conjunction with their
environment.
Most negative feelings and
behaviors are generated by
negative thoughts
Adolescents are also normally
self-conscious and sensitive
individuals
Making it a habit to assess one’s thoughts,
feelings and behaviors will give you the
opportunity to appraise the truth or
validity of one’s belief, appropriateness of
one’s feelings and emotions and decency
of one’s actions and behaviors.
The people around us do not necessarily
cause our feelings; we are the ones
responsible for them. We have a choice;
we have control over our feelings.
ONESELF/PERSONALITY AS AN
INTERACTION OF MANY FACTORS
A social psychologist, Albert Bandura, defined personality
as the interaction of many factors that affect a person
(thoughts, feelings, and body characteristics); his/her
behavior; and his environment.
He viewed children as active information processors who
quickly learn many new habits through observation.
