This module covers
MODULE about organizing and
DESCRIPTIO graphing data.

LEARNING
OUTCOMES:
After completing this module, you are expected to:
◼ Distinguish ungrouped and grouped data
◼ Organize and graph data using: Bar Graph, Pie Chart,
Frequency Distribution Table, Histogram, Polygon,
Ogive, Stem-and-Leaf Display and Dotplot.
FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTION FOR QUALITATIVE
DATA
A Frequency Distribution for qualitative data lists all categories and
the number of
elements that belong to each of the categories.
FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTION FOR QUANTITATIVE
DATA
A frequency distribution for quantitative data lists all the classes and
the number of
values that belong to each class. Data presented in the form of a
frequency distribution
are called GROUPED DATA.
MEASURES OF
CENTRAL TENDENCY
MODULE DESCRIPTION :
This module covers about the
measures of central tendency. This also
contains discussion, varied
samples, post-test, reflection and
references to fully understand the
topic.
Today we will...
Define mean, median and mode for both ungrouped and
ungrouped data.

Solve problems related to measures of central tendency for

both ungrouped and grouped data.
MEASURES OF CENTRAL TENDENCY (UNGROUPED
DATA)

This determines a numerical value in the central region of a

distribution of scores. Central tendency refers to the center of
distributions.

MEASURES OF
RELATIVE
POSITION
MODULE
DESCRIPTION

This module covers about the

measures of relative position for
both ungrouped and grouped
data.
LEARNING
OUTCOMES:
After completing this module, you are expected
to:
 Define quartile, decile and percentile.
 Calculate measures of relative position for
both ungrouped and
grouped data.
