ABSTRACT
Key Features
•The smart agricultural irrigation system is designed to automate the control of motor pump action based
on temperature and humidity sensing.
•The system uses sensors to monitor the environmental conditions in real-time and adjust the irrigation
schedule accordingly.
•It is equipped with a microcontroller that processes the sensor data and controls the motor pump to
optimize water usage.

Functionality
•The system can be programmed to set specific temperature and humidity thresholds for irrigation
activation.
•When the temperature and humidity levels exceed the set thresholds, the system triggers the motor
pump to start irrigation.
•Once the desired environmental conditions are reached, the system automatically stops the motor
pump.
•The system also provides real-time monitoring and alerts for any abnormalities or malfunctions in the
irrigation process.
OBJECTIVE

Goals
•To optimize water usage in agricultural irrigation systems.
•To automate the motor pump action based on temperature and humidity levels.
•To reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency in irrigation processes.
•To provide real-time monitoring and control of irrigation systems.
Controlling Motor Pump Action using DHT-11
In the smart agricultural irrigation system, the motor pump action can be controlled using the DHT-11
temperature and humidity sensor. The DHT-11 sensor measures the temperature and humidity levels
in the environment and provides data that can be used to automate the motor pump action.
By monitoring the temperature and humidity, the system can determine the optimal irrigation
schedule and adjust the motor pump action accordingly. This ensures that the plants receive the right
amount of water without wasting resources.
The DHT-11 sensor is connected to the system's controller, which receives the sensor data and
triggers the motor pump action based on predefined thresholds. For example, if the temperature rises
above a certain threshold and the humidity drops below another threshold, the controller can activate
the motor pump to irrigate the crops.
This automated control system helps optimize water usage, improve crop yield, and reduce manual
intervention in the irrigation process.

💧 Improved water efficiency
•The system uses temperature and humidity sensors to determine the optimal irrigation schedule,
reducing water waste.
•Water is applied only when necessary, preventing over-irrigation and waterlogging.
Reduced manual labor
•The system automates the irrigation process, eliminating the need for manual monitoring and operation.
•Farmers can save time and effort, allowing them to focus on other important tasks.
🌱 Increased crop yield
•By providing the right amount of water at the right time, the system promotes optimal crop growth and
development.
•Consistent and efficient irrigation leads to healthier plants and higher yield.
